MICHAEL moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Burbank, CA in 2002 to pursue a career in entertainment. He brought his family and skills with him and has never looked back. In Ohio (his former home state), he owned and operated his own photography business for 7 years called Captured Moments Photography. The majority of his business was photographing weddings, but he also shot family portraits, senior pictures, etc. During this time he also got involved in doing some acting; mainly stage productions. Acting and entertaining soon became a passion for him. Next it was time to go in front of the camera instead of behind it, so then he started acting and performing in independent films, industrial films, commercials and he even co-hosted a weekly talent showcase on local cable. He landed a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) commercial and then was able to get his union card. One day he got a call that a night club was looking for a DJ. An unfortunate event had happened and they needed a DJ right away. They were auditioning that evening & Mike got the job. He loved it! During the same period of time he started working for a mobile DJ company mainly doing weddings & some corporate events. DJ MICHAEL was very familiar with these types of events, because of his experience with the photography business. DJ MICHAEL has since sold his business, moved to California, and is now a full time DJ and is still pursuing his interest as an actor. He has been married for 20 years, and has a wonderful relationship with his wife Becky and with his 2 teenagers. His hope and desire is that every married couple will have a loving relationship that he shares with his family. DJ MICHAEL is a DJ who will go the distance in order to make your event as special and unique as possible.
